
Expressive Painting: Autumn Landscape taught by Jana Komaritsa

VIRTUAL CLASS
Celebrate the beauty and richness of autumn through color, movement, and creative expression. In this expressive painting workshop, participants will create autumn-inspired landscape using bold brushstrokes and layered color. Rather than focusing on realism or technical perfection, we will explore the mood, atmosphere, and emotional quality. Will use seasonal colors, texture, and expressive techniques to capture the essence of transformation of nature. Beginner-friendly.

Materials:
- Paint: A basic set of acrylic paint OR gouache paint in tube or pan colors (a selection of 6 colors or more) Here are some good options of sets if you need to buy some: Talens Art Creations 12 color gouache set OR Talens Art Creations 12 color Acrylic Set are both inexpensive sets with smaller tubes. This would be a good starter if you aren’t sure that you will like the medium.
- Brushes. Average size #8-12, round pointed, flat. Bigger sizes can be used as well, smaller sizes for details.
- Painting surface suitable for gouache or acrylic (watercolor or mixed media paper or boards, Claybord).
- Support Panel/pad back(if needed)
- Palette
- Water Cup
- Paper towel or cloth
- Masking Tape (if needed)
Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
