Crop artist Jill Moe began entering her work in the Minnesota State Fair in 2011. She has two blue ribbons under her belt but her true calling is helping beginner crop artists see their pieces on the peg board wall in the Ag Hort Building during the last weeks of August. If you ever wanted to make crop art, you should, and Jill will help you find your way.
Marta Shore had no art training or experience when she started making crop art in 2015 under the mentorship of Jill Moe. Over the past 9 years, she has challenged herself to learn a new crop art technique every year. As a result, she has placed 4th in 4 different categories. While this is her first time teaching crop art techniques, she has been teaching people how to break down complicated projects into manageable tasks since 2008.
