Color Mixing Lessons taught by Jinjer Markley (Multi-session)
September 10 @ 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm
Multi-Session Class
Meets Via Zoom on 5 Thursdays, September 10-October 8 from 12-12:30pm Central TimeVIRTUAL CLASS
If you find certain colors frustrating to mix, it is not your fault! Most color mixing instruction is based on traditional, outdated color theory. This class gives you practical instruction and experience with modern color theory, using Jinjer Markley’s tool, The Color Triangle. The Color Triangle makes understanding and mixing color so much easier, regardless of the medium you use!
In these quick lunchtime sessions, we will learn and practice the 5 simple but powerful lessons that come with the Color Triangle:
Mixing ANY color
Identifying colors accurately
Basic color mixing
Complementary colors
Using triads

Supplies to have on hand:
A hole punch
Jinjer Markley’s Color Triangle Kit
Any mixable medium, including any type of paint, color pencil, chalk or oil pastel…heck, I’ve even used it with Crayola crayons.
Bring any supplies you will need for mixing and testing colors (paper, brushes, water etc.)
Classes have a limited space available and some fill quickly. Decisions about whether to cancel a class or add another session are typically made one week prior to the start of a class. If a class you are interested in is full we will have a waiting list and will contact you if a space opens up. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 registrations) all registrations will be promptly refunded.
Ticket Instruction: You must choose a quantity to activate “get tickets”. To pay for a class registration with a Wet Paint gift card, please call 651-698-6431
