IN PERSON CLASS
Have you purchased the Holbein Artists’ Gouache Winter Set and just waiting to break it open and have some fun? Let’s spend the afternoon together exploring the magic of Irodori Gouache, which is Holbein’s line of traditional Japanese colors. This special set of opaque watercolors contains 12 professional quality colors inspired by the Winter landscape. In this class, we will explore maximizing color mixing to get the most out of your set, controlling your paint using washes and opaque applications, and creating a playful pattern design inspired by Damask fabric. These four projects will be completed on professional watercolor paper and will be perfect art pieces for framing or great studies for studio references. I will also share sketchbooks of mine exploring the possibilities of Gouache painting and share helpful hints and techniques to help you achieve successful paintings. This class is perfect for designers or illustrators no matter if you’re a beginner or an artist searching for something new to explore.
