IN PERSON CLASS
Make cards and a Mandala or Wreath
Learn about leaf printing history and how to make your own beautiful prints using fresh leaves, water soluble relief inks, and simple tools. You’ll get to practice on paper first, making 3-5 cards, then create of leaf print mandala or wreath design on a 8×8″ wood panel that is ready to hang.
All materials are provided. No art experience necessary.
Participants are asked to wear clothing that can tolerate art messes or use aprons that are available in the classroom.
In keeping with the standards of other educational settings in our area, we are asking that students and instructors wear masks during in-person classes at Wet Paint. If you are having any COVID or cold-like symptoms even if you have been vaccinated, please do not come to the class. Thanks!

Bio:
A jurist observed that he had never seen work quite like Snouffer’s botanical prints, remarking that she had developed unique printmaking techniques unlike any he had seen in his 35+ year career. Her work is recognized with merited honors and was awarded with commissions for the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota, Ramsey County Library, and others. Snouffer was part of a two-year mentor program and was awarded a 2019 residency with the Science Museum of Minnesota.
Snouffer has a decade of art exhibit installation experience in almost a dozen Minnesota galleries. She has held essential administration and program planning roles in Metro arts organizations. In addition, she served on several Arts Commission grant jury panels.
