Artist Trading Cards: Spring Florals taught by Lily Rogers-Grant

IN PERSON CLASS

Artist Trading Cards are small pieces of artwork designed for artists to share, collect and trade with one another. ATC’s can be created in any medium that you can imagine! This class will focus on the watercolor medium to create our ATC’s. The purpose of this class is to introduce you to the joys of creating and sharing ‘Artist Trading Cards’ (ATC).

Theme: Spring Florals with Watercolor and Fine Fines 

Explore mixed media by pairing fine line drawing with abstract watercolor florals. Practice embracing the abstract and imperfect beauty of nature. Class will walk you through a few fine line drawings, watercolor florals and how to combine them for a beautiful result!

Materials:

Round brushes (6, 4, 2)

Watercolor Paints- any

Fine line pens (with archival ink)- such as Pigma Micron regular or PN/plastic nib or Pitt Artist Pen. Pens should be different sizes with small to XS nibs

Artists Trading Cards- watercolor (2.5×3.5″ watercolor paper)
