Interest in gouache has been on the rise and as a result we have featured it more prominently in our class offerings this year. We’re pleased to have Greg Graham, artist and longtime Wet Paint employee take us on a tour of his recent gouache paintings, discuss why he is a fan of gouache paint and how he uses it, and take your questions about this versatile medium.

STATEMENT
I began working in gouache in 2017. I was drawn to gouache’s velvety sheen as well as an opportunity to work on paper again, something that had attracted me to printmaking in my student days.
I will show recent paintings, discuss influences and motivations, and review the materials that I favor in my current painting practice.
Please wear masks during in-person classes at Wet Paint. If you are having any COVID or cold-like symptoms even if you have been vaccinated, please do not come to the class. Thanks!
