Acrylic Painting: Pets +Wild Critters taught by Kat Corrigan

Adults and Teens 16 + are welcome in this class
Has it been too long since you picked up a paintbrush? Are you wanting to paint your COVID puppy for your partner and need a little help? Or is there a photo of a moose you’ve been wanting to immortalize? Come on in and Kat can help you with that!
In this one day 3 hour class, you will learn how to use a grid to transfer an image from your chosen photo to a black gessoed surface, and then learn how to mix the acrylic colors you need to paint your creature. You can choose to paint a beloved pet or you can paint a wild animal from a photo.
Kat will have a variety of photos you can choose from, or you can send your own to Kat ( katjojo@hotmail.com ) and she’ll crop it for you. To make sure we are all successful in this one day class, Kat recommends you choose a head shot of your animal, not a full body.
You’ll get all materials necessary and you’ll have fun! Kat knows lots of terrible jokes… At the end of class, you’ll leave with a completed painting, ready to be framed!
In keeping with the standards of other educational settings in our area, we are asking that students and instructors wear masks during in-person classes at Wet Paint. If you are having any COVID or cold-like symptoms even if you have been vaccinated, please do not come to the class. Thanks!
