Acrylic Painting: Tree+Negative Space taught by Kat Corrigan

No drawing skills are necessary, just the ability to follow directions!
Have you read “The Overstory”? Do you have a tendency to hug trees? Does the change of our seasons in Minnesota thrill you, as the trees above and around us shift their colors and opacity? Come and learn how to paint a simplified version in this introduction to acrylic painting class!
In this single session class you’ll get the feel of using acrylic paint, and the basics of color mixing from a limited palette. You will also learn what negative space is and how artists employ it in their compositions.
You will leave with a beautiful stained glass window-like painting on a cradled wood panel.
