Watercolor Sketching: Make It A Habit! taught by Tara Sweeney
October 14, 2020 @ 9:30 am – 11:00 am CDT
4 Wednesday Zoom sessions, October 14, 21, 28, November 4th 9:30-11am CST and 3 weeks of M-F sketching prompts and instructor feedback in Google classroom.
How many times have you promised to keep a daily sketchbook, made a great start, then lost momentum? You’re not alone. Sketching is fun. and a wonderful way to develop original ideas and individual style. But a sketching habit is tough to establish alone. Count on: playful prompts for inspiration, expert examples and tips for sketching, group support for goal-setting and structure.
List of three weeks’ prompts supplied before first session. Share results and Q&A with a creative community of online sketchers. See results, address challenges, get feedback and support from peers and instructor in weekly Zoom session. There are helpful questions for reflection each week in advance of the Zoom session. M-F self-pace with daily demos, examples, support materials and private feedback from instructor in Google Classroom. After three weeks, sketching will be a habit you look forward to every day.
Minimum weekly time commitment: 1.5 hour live session Wednesdays + M-F 30 minutes per day sketching and 30 minutes per day to review support materials and post results in Google Classroom.
