Mix Up Your Media!
This combination of fluid and dry media allows endless creative possibilities for artists. You’ll learn a number of approaches in this class. We will work freely in layers beginning with either watercolor or traditional (insoluble) colored pencil. We will work fluidly with broad washes, while colored pencil lends itself to smaller mark making and layering. We’ll also apply watercolor washes over the colored pencil, which acts as a resist to the color wash; apply colored pencil over watercolor that is dry, to enrich textural development.
An email with supply list and details will be sent to registrants prior to the class.
