String Lights are one of Jade’s best selling items she makes, and now you can make your own custom set of lights for your home! Jade will demonstrate a few different models or folds (including crane, lily and Kusudama flower) that you can make for each bulb, and then time to create! You’ll leave with your own custom string light set. Special requests folds will be demonstrated as well.
String of lights are included in the fee. Students may use origami paper provided or bring their own paper. Jade can cut down large single sheets of decorative paper for you in the class.
An email with supply list and details will be sent to registrants prior to the class.
About the instructor:
Practicing origami professionally was not something that was anticipated for my future. I originally had went to Culinary School, and cooked as a pastry chef for seven years. There is a great passion for being able to create delicate items during intense work conditions, and I thought that was what I would do forever. I then decided to continue a hobby I had always practiced as a child, Origami. The last two years of my pastry career was when I realized I had a greater love for the art of paper folding.
