Friday, June 30th from 12:30-3:30 OR 4:30-7:30pm (choose one session)
In this 3-hour workshop, students will discover an alternative to traditional oil painting. R&F Pigment Sticks, with their lipstick soft consistency, are a unique version of oil paint that has just enough natural wax added to maintain a solid stick form. This class will focus on ways to work more directly on the surface and without the use of brushes or solvents. Students will be introduced to a variety of cold wax techniques. We will be working on multiple ‘panels’ to help free the creative spirit.
Once a corporate training administrator, Julie now prefers to spend time in her art studio.
