Oil painting without brushes! In this one day workshop students will become acquainted with R&F’s Pigment Sticks which are actually oil paints in stick form. Transparency, opacity, color mixing, mark-making, and the importance of differences in your artwork will be covered as Julie shares the many ways paint can be applied to a variety of surfaces without a brush in sight. The use of cold wax will be taught as a medium for thickening and extending the paint. Dress for mess and come explore the possibilities!
Continuing students may bring prior work.
Student materials list will be provided to registrants prior to class start date.
