Got an airbrush and not sure how to use and care for it? Want to try airbrush as a medium before deciding to purchase one? This class is designed for you!
This class will cover the basic principles of airbrushing skills, maintenance, cleaning, and painting with various media on different substrates. I work as both a fine artist and a freelance designer. My personal work utilizes a photorealistic style to present imagery that’s been called “Dark Pop,” since I enjoy painting simple things and adding a bit of humor. My freelance work has included working on CD and magazine covers, posters, murals, product illustrations, robot toy box designs, painted motorcycles and surfboards, professional photo retouching and creating two of the “Peanuts on Parade” public statues. I am a graduate of the U of MN-Duluth, with a BA in Creative Writing and a BFA in Visual Art. I went on to earn an MA at St. Cloud State University. I’ve enjoyed a very diverse career in art, working both solo and in collaboration with other artists.
